The Journey So Far

Week 3: Blog Articles and Infographics

Dear God, we are in week three Hurray!

ggg.png Bootcamp is very stressful but we all know there’s always a price for everything in life. Therefore, we are ever-ready and super willing to pay this HOOGE price to exercise our skills and showcase our talents

fff.png Learning is one thing, implementation is another. The adage has shifted from "No Knowledge Is Lost to No Applied Knowledge Is Lost" because considering what we’ve done so far as a team, the experience and lessons learned can never be lost. And I must confess the price we paid is worth it.

The journey so far has been insightful and eye-opening to be very honest. I can say categorically that there’s been tremendous progress for every one of us and it has helped unlock different gifts/talents that we didn’t realize we had.

Now To Our Week 3 Project

kkk.jpg Hmmm, I bet you want to know how things went down for us this week and how we were able to break the wall of Jericho. Follow the article closely to know-how.

As usual, we were served breakfast by Drey(you can call him the king of breakfast) but this time around it was on a Sunday evening. We never can predict him. This time around, breakfast was served on a sabbath day. A holy day for that matter. But the task did not choke us, unlike previous ones.

ttt.png We were given a task to create a one-week content calendar for the blog we started last week and the content should be infographics. And also drive traffic to the blog via social media.

As per se, the team lead is an energetic and high-spirited person she organizes our team meeting for 5 pm on Monday, 20th of June to discuss the mission. She even volunteered to create the content calendar to ease the workload. She is a great team leader. No cap!

After the meeting, our conclusions were:

  • The Infographics will cover each of our articles on the blog.
  • One Infographic per article and we will have two Infographics for two articles per day.
  • Infographics for a day will be on our most read and least read articles. Which makes it two Infographics per day.
  • Social channels to be used- Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp.
  • As you post tag each team member so we can share, like, and also retweet. The infographic should be interesting, attention-catching, and must include the blog link.
  • The post too must include our blog link for easy navigation of readers.

As of Tuesday, infographics started flowing in. My people in the Lord you will agree with me when I say team 11 members are gurus in graphics designing.

yyy.png OMG!!! How can I forget the impromptu review session of our week 1 project?

The review was scheduled for 12 pm on Tuesday. The review was not bad. Obviously, the journey to greatness cannot be achieved in a day so we keep putting in more effort.

We had a meeting to talk about the review so as to avoid making the same mistake again and to make corrections.

Week 3 is done and dusted! Looking forward to another seamless week.
